Waste water treatment

Littleton, NH runs a waste water treatment and collecting facility which helps 70% of the population in the town, it is located on Meadow Street. When the water is finished being cleaned it is then effluent into the Ammonoosuc RIver. The present facility has been in operation since the year of 1989 and it holds 1.5 million gallons a day and is currently holding over 65% of its capacity due to rain water. The officials of the town say the treatment plant should still be in business for 5-10 years.
