Water Location for Littleton, NH
The water comes from the North branch of the Gail River, it then travels to the Apthorp Reservoir, which is steel and holds 158,000 gallons of water. Bethlehem, NH's facility monitors the water. Still in Bethlehem it travels to Railroad street into the Chlorination and metering facility. Moving fast it travels the to Oak Hill Reservoir in Littleton, NH this one is covered, which holds 1 million gallons of water. Goss Pump station then fills the Mt. Eustis Reservoir also the Manns Hill Pump Station gives service to Manns Hill and Witcomb Woods residents via the reservoir that holds 130,000 gallons of water. The Brickyard Road well pumps a total of 270 million gallons a minute. The National forest uses 926 acres as a water shed for the Gale River facilities.
